Creamy Mushroom Linguine with Smoked Salt & Truffle

Ingredients:
- Linguine – 150g / 5.3 oz
- Mushrooms (portobello, button, or mixed) – 150g / 5.3 oz
- Garlic – 1 clove, finely chopped
- Cream – 100ml / 3.4 fl oz
- Parmesan – 30g / 1 oz, grated (optional)
- Olive oil or butter – 1 tbsp
- N/UM Smoked Salt & Black Truffle – 1 tsp / 4g
- Fresh parsley or chives – for garnish
Method:
- Cook linguine in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water.
- In a pan, heat olive oil or butter. Sauté mushrooms until golden and tender. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Pour in cream and simmer gently. Add cooked pasta and a splash of pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
- Toss until everything is well coated and creamy.
- Plate and finish with grated Parmesan (optional) and a sprinkle of Smoked Salt & Black Truffle. Garnish with chopped herbs.
Recipe suggestions:
- Serve with garlic bread or a side salad with balsamic.
- Also works beautifully with gnocchi, risotto, or creamy scrambled eggs.
Recipe notes:
For extra decadence, finish with a drizzle of truffle oil or thin truffle shavings. Keep it simple to let the salt shine.
