Red Wine Brownie with Salted Syrup Glaze & Red Wine Blend and Buchu

Ingredients:
- Brownie batter – 1 batch
- Red wine – 100ml / 3.5 fl oz
- Sugar – 50g / ¼ cup
- N/UM Buchu & Red Wine Salt – ½ tsp / 2g
Method:
- Prepare and bake brownies as per your usual method. Let cool.
- While baking, make the syrup: simmer wine and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat until thickened (about 10–12 min).
- Slice brownies and brush or drizzle with syrup.
- Finish with a light sprinkle of Buchu & Red Wine Blend salt.
Recipe suggestions:
- Try on salted chocolate bark, berry galette, or wine-soaked cake.
- Can also pair with a cheese board for contrast.
Recipe notes:
Don’t over-salt, the flavor is strong and best used sparingly as a finisher.
