Red Wine Brownie with Salted Syrup Glaze & Red Wine Blend and Buchu

Ingredients:

  • Brownie batter – 1 batch
  • Red wine – 100ml / 3.5 fl oz
  • Sugar – 50g / ¼ cup
  • N/UM Buchu & Red Wine Salt – ½ tsp / 2g

Method:

  1. Prepare and bake brownies as per your usual method. Let cool.
  2. While baking, make the syrup: simmer wine and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat until thickened (about 10–12 min).
  3. Slice brownies and brush or drizzle with syrup.
  4. Finish with a light sprinkle of Buchu & Red Wine Blend salt.

Recipe suggestions:

  • Try on salted chocolate bark, berry galette, or wine-soaked cake.
  • Can also pair with a cheese board for contrast.

Recipe notes:

Don’t over-salt, the flavor is strong and best used sparingly as a finisher.
